Biography

African masks are considered religious objects. Just like a church, it can be desecrated and its powers conferred on another mask. The masked mask of his magic power remains an object of art.


For many years, the Ouattara twins met the Burkinabé masks companies to explain the purpose of their approach: to promote and revitalize the Burkinabe culture. They make contemporary creation work out of the traditional objects of which they make copies. They thus create their own symbols while working to safeguard the African heritage.
